BELIEVE: 170th Anniversary Convention and 42nd School of Fraternity Practices
Theta Chi is headed to The Lone Star State, and we hope you'll join your active brothers for a weekend unlike any other. We'll visit the oldest saloon in Texas, stroll the River Walk, sample Texas' finest cuisine, and experience a rich history with brothers from across North America to celebrate 170 years of brotherhood; not out of obligation, but because we BELIEVE in Theta Chi.
Fall 2026 Homecoming Gathering
A fall alumni meetup coinciding with University of Akron's homecoming weekend. 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Theta Chi House, 493 Vine St, Akron, Ohio. Alumni on our contact list will receive updates directly.
Theta Chi National Programs

A look at some of what Beta Lambda has organized in recent years for alumni and the broader brotherhood.
Alumni Banquet
Beta Lambda's annual spring alumni banquet at Papa Joe's Iacomini's Italian restaurant. Guest Speaker: Toby Roth (Theta Chi International President of Theta Chi inc.). This event is a formal gathering of alumni, active memebrs, and chapter leadership, bringing together generations of brothers.
84th Local Founders Day
Celebrating 84 years since Beta Lambda's installation as a Theta Chi chapter. The event reunited graduated brothers, actives met new alumni all while breaking bread and sharing stories. The evening was marked by generous alumni donations and contributions from our Alumnus brothers: Jonny Fraco, William Prescott, Ryan Ennis, and William Turner.
Spring Alumni Reunion
Alumni returned to campus for an informal chapter open house, meeting with active brothers and the officer team. A chance to reconnect and hear updates from the chapter president.
Senior Send-Off Dinner
Graduating brothers were celebrated at a chapter dinner with alumni in attendance, sharing advice and welcoming seniors into the alumni network.
Summer Leadership Retreat
While not an alumni event, the chapter's summer retreat drew on alumni insights and leadership frameworks shared by brothers who had gone through the process before.
Homecoming Tailgate
Beta Lambda hosted a small homecoming tailgate bringing together alumni and active brothers before the University of Akron game. Informal, open to families.
Toys for Tots Drive
Active brothers and alumni organized a community Toys for Tots collection drive, gathering donations across campus and the surrounding Akron neighborhood.
Chapter Anniversary Celebration
A gathering recognizing milestones in Beta Lambda's history, with alumni from multiple decades attending to reconnect and share stories of their chapter experiences.
